For this month's Employee Spotlight, we're celebrating someone who has spent nearly 17 years building BTX from the inside out — Sunny Holt. She started as one of our Radiologic Technologists in 2009, and today she leads Technical Support and Purchasing. In between, she's become one of the clearest examples of what it means to be a patient-first person, on and off the clock.

For this month's Employee Spotlight, we're honored to introduce someone who has been part of the BTX story for more than a decade — our HR Director, Tammy Williams. BTX has always been a place that genuinely cares about its people, and Tammy is a big part of the reason why.

At BioTech X-ray, we’re proud to stand at the forefront of healthcare innovation—not just in diagnostics, but in policy. In March, our leadership team traveled to Washington, D.C. to support the reintroduction of the Providing Urgent Relief through Medicare Access to Diagnostic Imaging (PURE) Act – H.R. 2477.

To better support accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes, BTX has updated our hip imaging protocol. Moving forward, any order for a 1-view hip X-ray will automatically include a full pelvic image—at no extra cost to Medicare or your facility.

Earlier this month some of our team took on DC with American Portable Diagnostics Association! We spent our time with members of congress, educating them on the important cost savings we bring to Medicare. Did you know that the average portable X-ray is 1/5 the cost of the same service when transporting the patient to the hospital?
